Recently, renewable energy resources (RESs) have been utilized to supply electricity remote areas, instead of the conventional methods electrical production. In this paper, optimal design a standalone hybrid RES comprising photovoltaic (PV), wind turbine (WT), and biomass sources as well an storage system, such hydro-pumped is studied. The problem sizing generating units in proposed system formulated optimization algorithms heap-based optimizer (HBO), grey wolf (GWO), particle swarm (PSO) are applied achieve each component grid-independent system. depending on real-time meteorological data Ataka region Red Sea Egypt. main goal process minimize cost (COE) loss power probability (LPSP), while satisfying constraints operation. results clarify that HBO algorithm succeeded obtaining best for selected RE with minimum COE 0.2750 USD/kWh net present (NPC) USD 8,055,051. So, has most promising performance over GWO addressing problem.
